Hues of Home

Nostalgic platformer about leaving or returning home, inspired by Choi Hung Estate in Hong Kong.

Choi Hung Estate is a public housing estate where my parents grew up in Hong Kong. When it was completed in 1962, it was the world’s tallest in storey and densest: eight 20-storey blocks, 7,450 units, housing 43,300 people.In recent years, it's become an IG hotspot after a new basketball court was built on top of the parkade. The estate is scheduled for demolition in 2028.
